Another video is out from Bryan Wood of Camera Security Now. This time he shows us how to set up a Dynamic DNS entry on your GeoVision DVR. Taking advantage of this feature will allow users to create their own domain name for internet access to the remote view of their cameras.
Once complete from any where on the internet you simply type the domain name into your browser and it will resolve to your GeoVision DVR, even if you do not have a static IP.
The best thing is this is a free service offered by GeoVision and as you can see from the video it can be set up in under 5 minutes.

Hey Woody, I folowed all your directions, but in the end , when I typed the hostname in the explorer, nothing happened, it said link broken...any idea? Somebody knows what went wrong?
